Mercedes-Benz Keys, Done at Your Car
The photos at the top of this page are from a real Mercedes-Benz job: programming a new key inside the car, then handing it over on the spot. Mercedes keys take more work than most brands, because the key and the car have to be matched by a programming tool, not just cut.
The Honest Part
Mercedes-Benz uses different key systems depending on the year and model, and some newer ones can only get a key through the dealer. We won’t pretend otherwise. Call with the year, model and whether you still have a working key, and we’ll tell you on the phone if we can make yours and what it costs. If it’s a dealer-only key, we’ll say so before anyone drives anywhere.
What We Can Help With
- New Mercedes-Benz keys on the models we can program
- Spare keys while you still have one that works
- Key fob problems; see key fob programming and replacement
- Car lockouts on Mercedes-Benz cars, opened without damage
What a Mercedes Key Costs
Mercedes keys usually cost more than most brands because of the key itself and the programming involved. The price depends on the model, the year and whether you have a working key. Call for an exact price, or see typical ranges on our pricing page. Our labor has a 60-day workmanship warranty.
